Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity

Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity testing is a method of non-destructive evaluation for masonry structures that involves passing ultrasonic waves through an object and measuring the time the waves take to travel from one point to another. Using a set of transducers (and a wealth of experience) Masonry Solutions International can apply this technique to gain an accurate and detailed look at the current conditions within a wall without removing building materials. This is particularly useful for historic masonry and related stabilization or enhancement efforts.
