Infrared Thermography

Infrared thermography is a multi-purpose tool for internal condition surveys. By mapping slight variations in temperature prevalent within a structure, Masonry Solutions International is able to ascertain where, for instance, significant voids exist or mortar is thin. Additionally, moisture prevention efforts are aided by thermography, as it allows the sources and pathways of water to be discovered. This allows MSI to then perform minimal interventions that require less time, less money, and less disruption to historic fabric.
